Welcome to Cookhill Allotments
The allotments are situated off the Ridgeway, Astwood Bank, a short distance from the Why Not Inn, on the left hand side of the road when travelling towards Redditch. There are currently 39 plots, owned by Cookhill Parish Council and managed by the Cookhill Allotment Association.
Allotments have been on this site since just after the First World War, they are set in an idyllic rural setting with views of the Malvern and Breedon Hills. There are a mixture of large, medium and small plots to suit all needs. We pride ourselves on being a friendly informal site where newcomers to allotments are always welcome.
Many of our tenants are benefiting from growing their own crops, which not only helps to keep a healthy lifestyle but also provides very cheap, but high quality, fresh vegetables and fruit for their families. The Allotment Association have a small committee dedicated to ensuring things run smoothly and to provide assistance and advice to tenants.
Despite its rural settings, the site is has mains water, a toilet and a good sized car park for tenants.
Plots are charged at £30 per year, including water and annual maintenance charge.
There are currently vacancies at the allotment site. If you would like to meet with the Allotment Association to view the available plots or to be added to the waiting list, and you reside within five miles of the Parish of Cookhill, please contact:
