A Parish Paths Warden (PPW) is a volunteer appointed by Worcestershire County Council’s (WCC) Public Rights of Way Team (PROWS) to assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Public Rights of Way network within the parish, helping to keep our footpaths open and useable.
Cookhill’s PPW Mr Tony Mitchell, he has been working with the Parish Council since early 2017. Mr Mitchell spends his free time walking the many footpaths crisscrossing the parish and carrying out minor repairs to stiles and gates to keeps them accessible to everyone.
